@cksdayoffHD 100% agree with you there. I'm so out of the loop with the groups. It seems like every other day they're churning out the next batch of short-living boy/girl groups. And while, yeah, they did have a lot of groups back then and I'm sure there's a ton that've just gone under the cracks, it just doesn't seem the same. I'm so glad my sister and I collected the CDs of certain groups. Koyote, Untitled, Turbo, DJ DOC, HOT, Sechskies, YT Club, UP, Kim Gun Mo, Clon, Roola, etc.

@sh1ttykitty yeah, i guess it was a stretch to say it defined kpop but this was one of the songs that really got me into it. 1996 to 1997, loved that time period. hot debuted, young turks club was on a roll, up came back with puyo puyo, etc.

I wish there was a show that looked back on all these groups and updated us on the current status of all the members.

It IS a good song, and it does follow the formula of classic KPoP, I wouldn't go as far as to say this defines it. This is honestly one of those songs where you just had to grow up with it to really enjoy it. Some parts of the song just haven't aged well and I doubt that a lot of the newer listeners might not agree to say this is a good song. Your statement might have people agreeing or have people feeling offended. :P

Can anyone actually believe at the time, this song took down JYP's song, "She's So Pretty" as the number one song?

And yeah, this song for the most part is cheesy and hasn't aged well. But you know what? This song has one of the best chorus sections of any KPoP songs. This really brings back memories.
