The resurrection of the righteouss is called the first resurrection...this includes the resurrection of Jesus 2,000 years ago, the resurection of the Church before the Tribulation, of the 2 witnesses at the middle of the tribulation, and the Trib martyrs whom are segregated and resurrected after the Tribulation. What is the second resurrection then? The resurection of the dead.

Jesus comes as a thief in the night (quickly, suddenly, quietly) VS Jesus comes in Great Power & Glory & EVERY eye will see Him...Jesus comes when we LEAST expect Him (eating & drinking; marrying & giving in marriage; buying & selling; planting & building) VS nuclear war, massive earthquakes/starvation, 100# hailstones, plagues, oceans turn to blood/everything dies, boils from the sun, all mountains/islands disappear, all greenery burned, a satanic madman cutting off people's heads...

So, what do the Preterists believe then, if not the Rapture? We just go through the entire tribulation with every other ungodly soul?

The "doctrine" of the rapture is not a salvation issue, so why do you speak so harshly against those of us blood washed saints that believe we are to "Watch and pray always, that we may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass??(the great tribulation),...Luke 21:36
