Shit, I never noticed how different the death star run was compared to the special edition.
I knew the explosion had the ring on it, but I didn't notice how many CGI shots of the X-Wings and TIE fighters they added into the special edition. I prefer the original bluescreen models, to be honest.

best scene ever, star tours had this, and they took it away, sigh. Now it's just a crappy sequel with no hope, oh well what can you do.

2:37 always looks to me like Vader was opening a thermos bottle during the dogfight. He probably failed in taking Luke down because he never had his chance to finish his cup, and his hands were trembling because of the lack of caffeine.

Fuck the 1997 version. My family has this on VHS (bought it before I was born) and it still looks awesome.
