ComALERT Back to School 2012

It was a privilege to hand out new back packs & school supplies to the children of the ComALERT program's participants. Back to School highlights the importance of education, its impact upon public safety, and the importance of promoting family reunification for formerly incarcerated Brooklyn residents.

Established in 1999, ComALERT (Community and Law Enforcement Resources Together) provides assistance and services for parolees returning to the community including drug treatment and counseling, mental health treatment and counseling, GED, and transitional housing and employment.
