@david2k6murphy i wouldn't put my money on that since family guy and simpsons are like archenemies. In one Simpsons Episode they put "plagiatism" (or something like that) under a picture of peter griffin and stan smith in a book about criminals. afaik the family guy creators aren't really friends with the ones from simpsons, but since family guy and american dad have the same creator it could possibly be pp in this case, but i think it's also to make fun of themselves and their viewers.
