Notice how Eddie Kramer has no "tape strip" (a piece of masking tape laid across the bottom of the faders with handwritten notes indicating which instrument is on each fader) on the mixing desk while he mixes. He's doing it totally by feel. The man is awesome. No wonder he and Jimi got on so well.

Haha. 1.47 "Jimi's basic guitar" Sounds pretty hard to me. Will there ever be 2 more outstanding individuals donating their abilities to music. Maybe, but they won't be a patch on Jimi and Eddie.

What would Rock n' Roll be without Eddie Kramer, Jimi Hendrix, Zeppelin, Bowie, Rolling Stones, Frehley's Comet... Plus a lot of the other great spirits of the rock n' roll music and lifestyle! The work he did with Hendrix and Zeppelin is probably the best and most beautiful art the world has ever seen since DaVinci painted Mona Lisa!
