FINALIST IN TRAILER AT 2008 SAKURA CON AMV/OVA CONTEST

Ok, so here is the story behind this video...I was showing a friend of mine a clip of "Transformers : Robots in Disguise" and she saw Scourge, which is basically Optimus Prime...only black. She then asked if the was more footage of the "Black Prime". And then said can you get a hold of a trailer of Spider-man 3...I instantly knew what she was suggesting. "Genius!' I though. Optimus Prime and Spider-man share similar color schemes...red and blue. I then decided to use "Transformers: Armada" instead, because I liked the animation style better, and because Nemesis Prime seemed like a better fit for black Spidey than Scourge did. I also opted to use the Spider-Man 3 video game trailer audio instead of one of the actual movie trailers as the video game one seemed to get the point across I was trying to make, while the movie trailer had a bunch of other stuff I didn't want (i.e.-Mary Jane storyline). So here is the finished project, enjoy! I had lots of fun making this one.

I know that these scenes are take from Transformers: Armada but all of the episodes I find are really low quality. Where did you find these particular clips from? Are they from the Japanese episodes?

@DragonMasterMack they're from the dvd release. Always use the dvds whenever possible.

these are all clips from Armada. i haven't seen Armada since it aired but i think they find a black Prime in an other dimension or some abandoned world.

@MegaNumberXIII there is an episode where Optimus became Nemisis Prime(Armada) during the G1-> it was called the Rude Awakening of Optimus Prime until his official comeback...(Return of Optimus Prime G1S4)

its similar to Spider man... take a look at their colors on reglar mode...and to the time of their being in the Dark side... take note- Transformers became a production of Marvel the reason why Dark awakenings take place
