UPDATE: Thanks for the suggestions! I recorded the full song sometime last year, and I tentatively called it "The Letter" because I couldn't think of anything better. It's been sitting on the album for about 8 months since then, and it just kind of stuck. You can hear the more-refined-but-not-quite-final-version on my myspace page.

A new song I wrote.

?! = I don't really know what I mean by that, hence the rambling. It just sounds too much like stuff I used to write and I have other new songs that I think are a lot better than this one. Occasionally, however, the old me creeps back into the writing...

Apologies for the audio not being quite right...and also for not starting the lessons up faster. I swear that's still coming. I'm almost done with the first episode. They should go smoother after #1.

Why don't you call this The Rain Outside? Or some variation of that.

Now I like this song, though parts of it remind me of the song Adam Sandler sang to Drew Barrymore in The Wedding Singer. But I don't see how that's a bad thing or if anyone else noticed it.

I do like the song and I dont think its too pop-ish but if you want to take my advise, because you know I'm such a knowledgeable pro (that was drpping with sarcasm by th way), maybe you can do it in someting other than a 4/4 time sig. I personally like 5/4 by that might just be me..
