  • Fans blowing for ventilation is important

  • You should call your homeowners insurance to see if it's covered under your policy. In the past that is what some customers have done. Often the access is the expensive part and you hire an excavation or foundation repair company to provide access. Then the plumber comes in and does his thing. We hire someone to provide access..so can you.

  • Two of a trade never agree.... It was affordable..great care was taken to preserve the foundation... Although it already had foundation problems due to years of pipes leaking under the foundation... The foundation repair guys were scheduled the next day after we finished the job.

  • It depends on what you are comparing it to. Longer than what? We completed this job in about 1 week.Mainly because we have some awesome excavation guys. It think it would have taken longer if you jackhammered the concrete, put the flooring back, deal with the dust, put the homeowner in a hotel and also cut the house in half which I think would be worse for the foundation. We put some piers under this before the dirt went back.

  • Fixxer Company Plumbing does not even try to hint what this cost.

Funny that someone spent this kind of money on a 1982-ish Fox and Jacob's house that appears to even still have the cheap cardboard like siding, I have two sewer slab leaks- either from the recent foundation lift, or it happened and cause the foundation to settle. Both are in the same bathroom and really close to the exterior. First quote was $4850. No thanks, I think I'll dig some holes my self.

  • Wow, that just seems way over the top, I would like to know the cost of this project and how you were able to deal with putting this all together and not cause brain damage from all that glue and primer in those confined spaces. I am contemplating building on a slab, but this has always been a concern of mine since remodeling my first wife's home and we had the same issues with having to jack up old slab to replace. This is one impressive waste line redo to say the least.

  • @vwwhitman I bet it does because you have to call in a mining crew, before you can even get at the pipes.

  • This is just one reason i would never buy a house built on slab.Because when you need plumbing repairs, they have to tunnel under your house like a gold mine.

  • wow! that is really impressive.

I would think getting all that dirt back in would be difficult? Especially getting it packed. That could be subjective of another video -)

  • Better you than me....love a crawl space.

  • I bet it cost the homeowners $50000 by the size and length of all the tunnels of that house with the labor and material.....also the slab will never be the same..look forward to cracks all over that slab now in the future.
