  • what song is that? Nice video....

  • That song is Still Alive, the end credits theme song off the game Portal.

  • Do you know if the protest received any local news coverage and if it did was fair?

  • It got LAME coverage, but channel 5 has been the best to us so far. The cameraman in the video was at our last protest, too.

We're still attempting to break the interest barrier in our local media...lol

  • Die Gedanken sind frei!

  • Ja! Dank für die Anmerkung. :)

  • This was awesome! I will definately be out on the 12th. I am from PHX. and was raised in the cult out here. We gotta spread the word..Scientology is a greedy cult!

  • This is great stuff! Anonymous really kicked Scientology crime syndicate ass, and they did it with humor, wit, evidence, and cake.

Go into a church, ask the priest/minister what Christianity is about, they'll sit down with you, explain and show stuff from the Bible.

Go into a mosque, ask the imam what Islam is about, they'll sit down with you, explain and show stuff from the Quran.

Go into a synagogue, ask the Rabbi what Judaism is about, they'll sit down with you, explain and show stuff from the Torah.

Scientology? They'll sell you books and courses, and duck simple questions.

  • @rosiertodd

Scientology doesn't get criticized for what they believe per se. Scientology is criticized because of the way they operate.

Scientology has a lot of enemies because they're greedy, they defraud their members, they bully and harass their ex-members & critics, they separate families, their RPF labor camps, their deceptive front groups, and corruption, etc.

Scientology definitely deserves the attention that they getting. They brought this mess upon themselves.

  • @rosiertodd

If Scientology is really out to help people, why do they charge money? If they are advocators of peace, why do they fight anyone who disagrees with them? If what they believe is reasonable and true, why do they hide their 'higher' teachings and charge high sums for people to be able to read them? If they aren't in it for fame and profit, why do they target celebrities for recruit?

  • The Church of Scientology claims that there is no such thing as a Disconnection policy, but the contract when joining staff says otherwise: "10. ASSOCIATION WITH INDIVIDUALS NOT IN GOOD STANDING. During my service as a staff member, I agree not to knowingly associate, in any way, with former parishioners of the Church or any other Scientology organization who are either no longer in good standing, or have been expelled or have been declared. "

  • Scientologists aren't trained in logic at all. It is only about belief. About being sure. The belief is that if you believe something then it is true. The thought system seems to actually be repelled by logic.

According to Hubbard, if you "postulate" something without any doubts or reservations, it must become true.

  • any one know where i can find schedualed protests. i live in the roanoke/salem area of virginia, but im willing to go within about 2 hours away. not much farther though cause im 17 and have no car so id have to bum a ride
