@Paulinus. These are all American cars--photographed when Americans mainly bought American cars. A few years after this recording the British music "Invasion" swept the US and Americans mainly wanted to hear "The Limey Sound." There is no EH Holden there, mate! (Holden is a car marketed in Australia--and exported)!

Yep, ain't it a shame that cars like this aren't produced anymore. Back when cars had class and style, each one different, each one with it's own distinct personality. When I was in High School, the NEW year brought the NEW cars, and we looked forward to them with high expectations of the new brute power and speed each Ford and Chevy brought. Ford and Chevy, the two most popular cars of the period, each one had it's admirers and detractors, but we loved those cars......and the music.

Wonderful song, Johnny Preston one of the true contributions on the beginnings of "Rock & Roll" and at 2:17 on the video a great shot of a 1950's white Buick in Habana Cuba, It doesn't get any better than that!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
