Butzbach's Military housing complex for U.S. Soldiers and dependants closed it's doors forever in July 2007.
A short visit to bring back memories. Youtube removed all the music I had as soundtrack due to exclusive rights by Warner Music Group.

  • i lived in Ohio rd. 4c from 2002 until the end

  • I didn't live in Butzbach but I lived in Frankfurt (72-76) and this tugs at my heart-strings as if this was my own housing area. Nice video. Thanks for posting.

  • We lived there form 88-91...thanks for posting...I hate that it looks the way that it does but the memories in my mind still are vivid and bright

  • I lived here in the early 90's when the Ayer Kaserne (The Rock) was still open. My father was stationed there at the time, actually. We moved there a few months before the borders of East and West Germany dissolved due to the whole 'Iron Curtain' deal. I have also attended Butzbach Elementary School, located right in the complex. Loved it. Thanks a bunch for posting this, I was looking for this for quite some time.

  • thank u for the memories, i was stationed Butzbach from 1973 to 1978. i coach little league baseball there and took the kids to the 3rd amored championship, and lost in the USAREUR championship in Spain. They and their family lived on Michigan St. Met my wife via her little brother. hehe. he was in baseball and football that i coached.
