I found a new place to discover, a 200 meter high hilltop in the countryside. After 50 km of driving from Tampere (large city in South-West Finland) I found myself at the site. Luckily there was room for my mobile-limousine at the edge of the field. Up goes the Giant Dx Whip and down go the dx qsos to the log.... I was able to get into Iceland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Darkness came very quickly (late November) and the bands died out very quickly.

I took a wrong shortcut on my way back home and found myself on a VERY small and narrow muddy road in the middle of the forest. Luckily my 13" tires had enough grip and off-road credibility and I was able to return back to civilization... ;)

  • Hyväpuoli harrastuksessa että tulee mentyä mäen päälle wörkkimään. Ei haittaa jos kuluttaa akut autosta tyhjäksi kun voi aina lasketella rinnettä ales. :)

  • good contacts my friend.
