I have a digicam 30fps
You have a Slow Cam ;)
-
slow... my 1d can beat that... just shitting with ya bro, take it easy...
-
Someone here solved it. I just turned off the noise reduction and boom, I can shoot in BURST like a machine gun. I use a sandisk extreme thing... I read from a book that expensive CF cards doesn't affect cameras like the 40D. The ones that really benefit from the fast cache thing are the pro models.

What type of memory card do you have? If you bought a cheapie, there may be some problems with it not being able to keep up.
-
Not entirely, I did what ldw73085 said(turn of high noise reduction), it worked. I got 50+ fps back again(even at RAW). Meh, I don't really need that kind of burst. 5-6fps will do for me imo.
-
sluggish memory card?
-
oh really? I'll try that later.
Thanks for the help man

try turning off high iso noise reduction. i have the xsi and that did the trick for me.
I think it would be a little faster if you'd set the aperture to f/1.4.

I don't think so. It should be just as fast with any aperture, while set on manual.
