Hi, I have a canon 550d, I do mostly filming, that's my priority but I also do the ocassional but of photography. I own the kit lens 17 - 55mm and a canon 50mm 1.8. What lens would you reccomend me to get next? as cheap as possible though :P I was thinking of the sigma AF 70-300mm f4-5.6 what do you think??

Recommending Canon EF-S 18-200mm IS! :))

@cameralabs Does a Primelense rotate while focus?

Good video. I'm an entry level user but I've found that primes are actually a good alternative to zooms. While I kept the kit lens, bought a 30mm Sigma, 50mm 1.8 Canon and that allows me to take portraits and landscape shoots. I would like to see your opinion, specially about getting primes instead.
what do you think about the 28-135 mm ???

@julzyin I think it was fine for 35mm film cameras, but is too long for a general-purpose lens on a cropped APS-C body. Remember, when you multiply it by 1.6x, you effectively lose any wide-angle coverage. It'd be okay coupled with the 10-22 though.

Being 4 1/2 years later would you suggest 3 different lenses or still recommend these 3 still?

@TheTeksone I reckon the best general purpose Canon zoom for APS-C bodies is the 15-85mm, but if you do a lot of low light por portrait work, the 17-55mm f2.8 is also still nice...
