Bill Lair started and ran a Vietnam-era C.I.A. operation in Laos that ended he thought in 1975. 32 years later he found that a few Hmong tribespeople were still fighting against their old enemies, the Laotian communists. In this brief clip he visits Blia Shoua Her, a "jungle" Hmong leader, who had just escaped Laos and was being held in a detention center in Thailand. The images are from both Roger Arnold and Roger Warner. Edited by Roger Warner. Posted in conjunction with a series in the Huffington Post by Roger Warner.
