@DoggyB22 Umm... actually all you say in the last reply is that it's an odd question, and it's a charge, then you gone saying that it'll never happen.... yet again... never in your last reply do you mention whether or not it'll lose or save the video data.

Dude I like just answered this question for you already.... No you will not lose anything. Why is this question such a big deal to you. It wont happen... I don't know any person who's GoPro has fallen off. The suction cups stick on PRETTY dam good. The battery flying out of the camera has NOTHING to do with the recording. It records everything to a memory card.....

I understand that the gopro is well protected but just for example, say that you were recording on a car at 60mph and you recorded for 10 min then all of a sudden the gopro falls and breaks out of the case and the cover to the battery opens and the battery flies out.

Would you lose all of the 10 min video or would it have saved some or all of it the 10min?

From looking at all these gopro video. Does look awesome and I did see the 3d option on the gopro site. I also know that it's extremely durable with the case on. I saw a video where the gopro falls off a car at 60mph. Definitely agree with you.

Well, yea, it runs on a charge battery. It's called a lithium-ion rechargeble battery. =p That's what I meant.

Kind of an odd question.... But Gopro run on charge not battery. Even if the Gopro was to fall off its in a case which is REALLY hard to break. I've dropped mine couple times & its done nothing. These cameras are LEGIT. I just bought a handle & head strap for mine & love it! Only thing I wish the camera had was better night & zoom. Other then that they just came out with the LCD screen & a 3D camera. So those should be in my future.

Question about gopro:

Say you were recording for 30 minutes and then all of a sudden the gopro falls off, rolls and tumbles and the battery breaks out. Do you lose the entire 30 minutes or will you have the video saved?
