My wife's grandmother is from Torino and her grandfather from Napoli, so we love Italy. I'm so sorry you don't have easy access to the Tridentine Mass. Sadly, many Italian bishops don't like it. Hopefully that will change in the next two years so that you can enjoy the beauty and majesty of the ancient liturgy! Best regards!

@navymsc Dear friend I live in Italy, home of Palestrina and of Catholicism but here it is difficult to have the Tridentine Mass on Sundays, let alone your own wedding!
I am part of one of Italy's most famous amateur choirs,I CANTORI DELLA RESURREZIONE (Singers of the Resurrection), and mine is the official page ...
However, I think I'm getting married in 2 years, so I'll have time to arrange the marriage and in Washington, with the Missa Papa Marcelli!

Thank you for your comment! Where and when are you getting married? Your youtube page is cool.

I ALSO WANT MY MARRIAGE TO THE MISSA PAPAE MARCELLI!!!
Beautiful wedding. Although, once question comes to mind, if the Solemn Mass is too complicated for the clergy, a Sung Mass (ie one priest - Msgr Pope who is quite competent in the traditional Rite) would suffice.

Thank you! A missa cantata would suffice, but if you have a capable team of clerics and servers, the solemn high nuptial mass is exquisite.

@navymsc No argument there. However, and I mean this with all respect, it seems that the deacon needs more practice. May God bless you and your spouse and reward you for your service in your country's military. I will say an Ave for the two of you. Please say one for me as I am discerning a vocation to the priesthood, either FSSP or the diocesan seminary. I'm from Vancouver, British Columbia, we have some fine diocesan priests here.

@rpgabc123 You may be assured of my prayers. I attend the FSSP apostolate in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The FSSP is a great place to live out your vocation!
As for the Deacon, he was a newly ordained priest who had practiced to be the sub deacon. The experienced deacon I scheduled forgot to show up, so 15 minutes before the wedding, the sub-deacon agreed to be the deacon. It was his first solemn high mass and my MC did his best to direct him. The dark days before SP were often on the fly
