  • That's not the point. This is Phil's song. Luke's version is truly amazing, but Phil Coulter feels this song like only its writer can. He was there to see the destruction of his beloved Derry, and he can feel the vivid images awakened by this song like no other.

    Luke Kelly was an amazing musician and singer, God rest his soul, but even he cannot nor any other can match the quality of Phil Coulter singing his song. As he said himself, "This is the song I wish to be remembered for."
