It probably COULD screw up ur differential, but not if you only do it once. The trays don't hold up for longer than a few minutes anyway. Best to do it on a wet parking lot. Less traction in the wet means less stress on the transaxle and diff I figure.

@stevebmx21 well from what i know its unlikely 2 wreck your diff. like skynight said .it could mess with your diff. over time. i would say at a guess it wasn't because of tray drifting the diff just fucked out .. and GET A RWD good on u skynight for going to rwd :-) not the rsx the s13 if u did get 1

@SkynightDrifter it messed up my transmission in my 97 civic lx. and have to have it rebuilt. cheapest place was 1300.. so your not the only one that had problems because of this

Hey pplz, im the driver of the civic, at the time i was in highschool and it was just a day trying something intresting. if u traydrift long enough, i think it could mess with your diff. over time.
That car had to take me to work and school and i couldnt afford to buy a WORKING 240 just to drift on the weekends.
My other video shows me fixing it up, because i like the learning curve of DIY work Now i got a RSX, hell yea its a 6 spd. A project car is on the way hopefully 240sx s13
