is there a difference these days?

VioletTigress, for me, its the activists that annoy me. I actually care about some of the same issues, I just loath how they tend to go about it. It seems that so many of them are into spreading propganda rather than fact. If their cause is so righteous, then shouldn't cold hard fact be enough?
By the way, as others have said, I love your shirt.

How often does the "Mass Media" desimate activists these days? It seems to me that activism has become a fad and the Media encourages it for a juicy story. As for "raising awareness", it seems to me that they tend to raise nerves more often than "awareness" these days.

Hiya! Love your vids.
Over in Australia some people set up a protest at a major energy company. It was setting out to stop global warming, but the team also blocked electricity to over 200, 000 homes, including us. So I think, although sometimes they're just trying to raise awareness, they're going about it the wrong way.

Illuminati and 911 video producers risk their lives. The Ron Paul agenda could be lethal if he gets elected. Green Peace activism risks life. The list goes on and on. Demonstrators raise awareness. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. A large number of passionate people wearing T-shirts and carrying signs squeaks loudly especially when disseminated on mass media.

Cool shirt.
My problem with activists is that they don't take real action! In 1773, brave men dumped tea into a harbor for being unfairly taxed. A crime in their colonial government to prove a point!
Now, millions in regions of the world are affected both positively and negatively by our foreign policy. Demonstrators do nothing but make funny slogans and sell shirts on the web.
I have little hope in the longevity of our nation, because no one is brave enough to take risks.
I'm not sure I understand the question.

When people start talking about activism, and doing activist work for whatever their cause is; are you more likely to be annoyed by them, and the way they go about doing their activist work; or would hearing about their cause and activism annoy you more? Also, there are some issues that just annoy people more than others.
