the hidden blade tutorial series part 1/12 - a simple blade

subtitles:
take a slide and cut it down to the apropriate length... rivit a pulley at the back of the inner slide... and grind a groove at the front. take your blade of choice and make sure it fits snuggly into the inner slide... if it does take a piece of fishing line glue the middle of it to the back of your blade. once the glue has hardened, put it into the slide. wrap the back of the string around the pully, and glue it to the front of the outer slide. take the front of the string and wrap it around the groove, and glue that to the front of the outer slide. take a spring or a rubberband and attach one end to the back of the inner slide, and take the other end and attach it to the back of the outer slide. when you pull the blade out it should snap back in. finally bend a wire to look like a hook and attach it to the front of the outer slide. position it in such a way that when the blade comes out, the wire falls down and locks the blade out. attach a spring to the wire to insure it falls behind the slide, and tie a string from the wire to a ring on your hand.

how it works:
when you swing your arm, cetrifugal force pulls the blade out, and stretches the spring. when the blade is all the way out the wire will drop, locking the blade in place. when you bend your hand back, the wire is pulled out of the way, and the blade snaps back into the housing.

@ironwraith4 No they dont the hidden blade is a useless weapon in there line of work and would most likely get them killed smoke bombs are the sise of your fist and the only form of hidden gun we have thats close to the assassins creed one fires one bullet and is only useful at 5 yards anymore and it's ineffective and most enemy's check the sleeves because knifes can be hidden there Taliban fighters have been known to cut of the arms of people they think have a knife
