SUSAN ROCES was born on July 28, 1941 in Bacolod City as Jesusa Purificacion Levy Sonora.

Her father is a doctor named Jesus and Purificacion, her mother.
She has three sisters and one brother.

She attended preparatory school in Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Iloilo, primary in St. Louis University Baguio, elementary in Loreto College and high school in La Consolacion College Bacolod.

She is fondly called Manang Inday.

She is set to do a Christmas teleserye special on GMA 7 titled "Sana Ngayong Pasko" to be shown this December...
