For those of you that are confused thinking that Mario Rivera was playing the piano in this video, it was actually the piano player from the Dominican Republic Michel Camilo. Mario was sick for that 1983 Montreal Festival and they called Michel in at the last minute. That's why Tito seems so pleasantly sorprised at Michel's ability. It was the 1st time the band heard Michel ever. Michel rehearsed the songs alone. Look up Michel Camilo in Wikepedia and you'll see i'm right. Great band !!

Does someone knows where can i find the Eumir Deodato's version of this song?

@ColombianoJuanes But you are wrong because the guy Who is playing the flute is Mario Rivera.

Two people who are virtually dead from the neck up! Sitting still while Sr.Puente is on stage is a diabolical trick I haven't conquered. RIP maestro. You were/are the best!

AMAZING, THANX FOR THIS VID!!

Fabulous performance in classic style. Conga, timbales, everything fits. And Michel Camilo indeed manifests himself as possibly the best latin jazz pianist ever. I have the DVD of the whole concert. A pleasure to look at and it enlightens your mood when you feel down. How I wish I could swing like Tito on that age.
