  • w/e. im gunna smoke it legalized or not

  • "The law is the law. . "

But how can a law be right when it was founded upon racism and hatred for strange customs?

Marijuana was criminalized because it was associated with jazz clubs and also believed to cause white women to seek relationships with black men.

Marijuana was also criminalized because of the mexican immigrants who smoked marijuana after working long hours so they could relax. They had different customs that were strange to Americans and it scared them.

  • What a snake. Of course this one is biased. He wouldn't want marijuana legalized as he has vested interest in beer and os making plenty of money off it. What an ignorant, going back to the reefer madness days. Read: Marijuana is safer : so why are we driving people to drink? / by Steve Fox, Paul Armentano, Mason Tvert

excellent book and blows the stupidity of the myths of its use and governments involvement in its suppression.

  • @1Fujimoto420 did you get that from grass? i like the quote

  • @sureiguess1 and that my friend, is the one reason this law cannot work, and has proven not to work throughout history, the majority of the population wants to smoke it, so they will, you can't legislate private morality, that's exactly what the prohibition of marijuana is, now it's time to spark up.

  • They should arrest smokers and alcoholics .

  • It's pretty simple folks.Either the Gov. regulates and controls it or the drug dealers and gangs control the distribution.,Which is better , and don't forget, drug dealers don't ask for ID.I have to wonder if all the people that voted no on prop 119 in CA realize they voted on the same side as the drug dealers.

  • @1Fujimoto420 True. Don't forget that marijuana was also criminalized to protect the interests of the paper and synthetic fiber industries (DuPont). Hemp posed a threat to the paper industry due to the invention of the hemp decorticator machine which made hemp production faster and more economical. Hemp could produce up to 4 times as much paper pulp as trees, acre for acre. This machine had the capability to wipe out the paper industry, thus they called for the illegalization of hemp/marijuana.

  • i feel kind of bad for whoever posted this =( ur prolly a silly dysfunctional drunk around 30-50lbs overweight that watches Glenn Beck all day anyway. smoke a joint and take a hike for a change? i assume you do live in beautiful Colorado after all!

  • after this im gonna walk to the coffeeshop and buy myself some weed :P

  • I'm usually a democrat but because of Hickenlooper's anti-pot stance I will be voting for Tancredo who supports marijuana reform. Screw lickenpooper!

  • "Marijuana charges allow us to put aggressive offenders in jail longer", hahahaha, it also allows you to put inncoent people in jail for long periods aswell.
