British Airways 747 Landing at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport

Landing on runway 26 at Phoenix Sky Harbor Intl (KPHX) in a British Airways PMDG 747 400, as BA 289. A bit of a late touchdown, but it's very smooth. I set the date for mid-July, and adjusted the weather settings to make it look very hazy and hot, with a slight breeze a few hundred feet above the ground. During the approach, I disconnected the autopilot and the autothrottle simultaneously, however, in the video, you can only hear the autothrottle disconnecting (at the 42 second mark). Honestly, I don't think that British Airways uses 747's when flying from LHR to PHX. I think they use a 777.

yeah, skydive is right... there are several videos of real BA744s landing at Phoenix, they may use 777s during during certain parts of the year.

I think British Airways charges way too much for their airline fares. I'd rather fly on United for a cheaper price and connect in Denver to London.

Yeah? I think British Airways is the best! and their 747s are amazing. the only advantage I find to flying United is the option to listen to the pilot's ATC communications on channel 9 of the inseat entertainment system.
