bigger size jeans

3.29.11 update. My girlfriend and I went shopping for a pair of jeans for me last week. As we were walking out from the dressing room, I peaked at the size of the jeans and realized they were the same size I used to fit when I was 120-130lbs. I freaked out and felt this overwhelming feeling take over. I didn't know what to do or how to feel at that moment. I almost felt like I was going to relapse. So many thoughts were going through my head & I felt as if I wanted to just crawl up into a ball and cry myself to sleep.

The following day when I tried on the pair of jeans again, my girlfriend pointed out how loose it was on me and that it probably wasnt really my size...

Bottom line: I'm still scared

its a really good thing that you are climbing out of this eating disorder. just listen, its not about being fat or skinny or whaterver now. its just about your overall health. i think ur beautiful and smart, btw, when r u going to make a new update? O_o

ok #1: Jean sizes are totally different depending on the brand and style. for real...

I wear a 2 in some jeans, and some are 9s. They are the same physical size, but the numbers do not reflect anything. It's totally ridiculous. You can't let yourself be ruled by a number! You're wayyyy worth more. remember that you don't want to care about that stuff. remember- oh wait! I don't care!! sometimes to just say out loud- I am fine, I don't need to pay any more attention to this number. loves! ++Chi

Oh sweetie... I know that feeling. I hate getting jeans that fit perfectly from one brand but not every brand fits the same. With some brands I have to go up a size because of the way they make it :(

Sucky feeling, but we just have to remember... IT'S A FEELING.
