t's easy to get your Youtube video downloader free. In fact, it is even easier to use an online download service to get all the Youtube videos that you want downloaded free. You can go to Keepvid.com to do the free download. But first you have to get the url (web page address) of the video you want to download. just go to Youtube and select your desired video. When that page opens, you don't have to play it if you don't want to. All you need is the url of that page. Look at the url address bar at the top of your browser, it will say what the url is of the page you are on. Perhaps you want to extract clips or still pictures from it. Well you can't just use Windows Movie Maker to do that as Movie Maker doesn't handle the popluar streaming video formats that Youtube uses.
