Here is a video Madeleine Lansky (Profound Sustainability) did/translated of Chris Lindstrom (CompostEra) talking with Vorb Charles (CO2Bambu) in Leogoane, Haiti. Spanish was the agreed upon language that these two North Americans and this Haitian chose to discuss their shared interest in a sustainable rebuilding of post-Earthquake Haiti. The three chatted about composting toilets when Lansky and Lindstrom were there in April 2011 to work on a model that links sanitation, reforestation, disease mitigation and mental health. Who knew that Monsieur Charles and a number of his colleagues would want to pitch in with their neighbors and get their own composting toilets ASAP!?
