I don’t live in Montana, but I imagine that much of the state is rural. Each state and community usually deals with things in their own way. With that said, I’m still unconvinced that DUI laws are a bad idea. Some of them may need improved, but they should still be on the books.

i agree with this guy. being drunk or buzzed doesn't necessarily mean you're going to cause an accident. maybe it should be illegal to drive shit-faced or three sheets to the wind, but for the most part DUI laws are just an excuse for the pigs and the state to intrude on our liberties and fuck us out of a bunch of money.

for example, with DUI checkpoints, compare the number of cars seized to the number of DUI arrests made at any check point on any given night. it's obscene.
