A Look at the USA in the 1960s

this is a very ordinary film of life in the USA in the 1960s. BBQs etc..What`s changed? People do the same things today.Starts off in Mexico I think, then east coast USA, New York, then at end San Francisco. Good shots o a "greasy pole" fight on a liner...going home??

@dgr8zod and today we live in the world of the baud, where my neighbor can be some asian kid that i never met or meet a girl i would have never otherwise met without the use of the internet. I can now talk with freinds scattered across the globe and have coffee right in my own living room at the same time. I also have access to more information from one little gadget than a whole building full of books and guess what?!?! i dont have to worry about nuclear war with the russians.cool huh?

The largest change is the loss of the sense of a community, at least in the same terms. In the 1960's all the kids in the neighborhood played together. All the parents knew each other, even getting together for coffee and conversation, or a game of bridge or pinochle. Now, it's all devices and entertainment. Neighbors still are aware of each other, but not to the same degree. Never mind that coffee was two bucks for three pounds, and gas was 39 cents a gallon..

another difference is that filth is now a cultural mainstay in every facet of our society...it's normalized on TV, News, internet, radio, politics, music, movies and expectations of behavior even at the youngest of ages...girls are raised in whoredom. This of course was going on in the 50s, but slowly it has been decaying and preverting our generations hence. This has all been planned. thanks for posting up the video.

One thing thats definatly change, people used to vacation within the USA back in those days, places like Ausbury Park NJ, Florida, Cali, etc. Now people just book a flight to Bermuda.
