"Virginia Is For Lovers" was one of the big tourist slogans here back in the 70's and quite a few people took a shot at putting it to music. Mr. Abshire sounds to me like a cross between George Jones and the guy who did that " I can't believe I'm sittin in this front porch in this swing just a SWINGIN" song. (Sorry,I didn't realize how harsh the bass was till I played this back. Eventually I will do it over.)

Actually this song was banned because of the Quote "taxes is the only thing I'd love to see change" & yep he is still kickin. He's my DAD. P.S. he got air time on Paul Harvey from it.
