DON'T FORGET TO LISTEN IN HI-QUALITY! Please comment!

Here's a direct rip from the Dragon Spirit arcade board by Namco. The name of the track is taken from the Turbo Grafx 16/PC Engine sound test option.

Composed by Shinji Hosoe, I feel this is the *best* track of the game. It gives the feeling of a battle in faraway land, full of strange creatures, magic and adventure. I let it repeat once, then it fades out. It has a bit of a "thin" sound compared to the punchy percussions of the (Very solid) PC Engine conversion, but the clean instruments in full-stereo surely sound nice on their own. Enjoy. I may upload others upon request. Over 20 years old, and it still sounds fantastic.

Dragon Spirit is Copyrighted to Namco/Namcot/Namco Bandai. Thanks for making such awesome games through the years. If Hosoe-san is reading this, thanks for your work, made available here for future generations to enjoy. Syrius Belsferg (me) counts himself as one of your fans. Domo!

  • how about the music played when fighting the Firebird at the end?

  • @MDCSWildcats86

I can look it up and upload it later.

  • Hellz yeah, all of the music in this game is AWESOME. Thanks for uploading the arcade music <3

  • My pleasure.

  • The background music to the "Glacier Land" stage is the best music in the entire Dragon Spirit soundtrack.

  • Really? I hate to disagree. It just doesn't make me feel as "pumped up" as this one does. I'll admit it sounds pretty good.

Could it be because they are the extremes? One is from a fire-based level, the other from a glacier. Hmm...

And when I played the sequel Dragon Saber, I was shocked to see the players were two humans turning into dragons. Badass.

  • I perfected both PC version and NES version (this one on the first sitting). Then I moved to play Arcade version, thinking it would be just as easy as those two...

I was in for a RUDE SHOCK...

  • Great Game,Super Music for 87 ,it was Best
