@moyraangel that's a good point. Some people say words a certain way because either they have to from a speech impediment or because that's how the people around them said it when they were growing up. Besides whether you go to the honky-tonk (southeast) or the bah (new England) they're in essence one and the same (if that makes sense).

In no way is it lazy. It can be regional, speech impediments, hearing issues, as well as other problems. Calling it lazy is like saying any other version of english, from southern, new england, midwest, ect, are all wrong and lazy. Which shows a sense of bigotry.
