  • Algae is a pot of gold! There is a high percentage to be economically useful!

  • it could only be described as torture. LOL

  • libya pumps up water for $3.50 a cubic yard and that 600 feet deep plus transportation. Now i dont supose Oil is really that more expensive to pump and transport. how can algae oil compete with the trure cost of oil at 19 cents a gallon production cost ?

  • Valcent has already devised the most efficient system for algae production. By average, a pond system can generate around 20,000 gallons per acre per land, but Valcent R&D has a system that lets them produce 5x as much given that same amount of land. Their claim that if 1/10 of the state of New Mexico were reserved for algae fuel production, they can meet all of the fuel demands for the economy's transportation.

  • That end segment was so retarded. Prairie grass "burns clean" and "sequesters carbon" lol. You release the carbon it sequesters when you burn it, so it's a carbon-neutral process. They always say stuff in a way that could be interpreted the right way, but it isn't intended to be interpreted like that. I hate that kind of stuff... oh, and go algae!

  • this is nothing, imagine sitting in a break room having to listen to them talk about what is important to them . it could only be described as torture. LOL

  • geez- good thing they're cute- cuz they're annoying as hell to listen to.

  • they should get all the algae from china
