not a superb run, but not bad, I use both the lightning and fire shields to improve the time somewhat.

I almost had a heart attack because of you skipping all of the rings and prizes...lol. It takes me forever to finish levels because I am a self-admitted prize and ring junkie.

@MRMIdAS2k No way, if you had that much luck you would have to take time to count it but this video shows you're almost relentless and also in your Act 2 of this video I watched there is a part. A part where you go onto spikes while having a shield yet you don't get hurt. It's at 39 seconds in and also with the fire shield. The amount of time you propel yourself seems a bit ludicrous, if it isn't TAS then you must have some sort of turbo controller.

The spike thing, i avoid by jumping, as the spikes rotate, if i'd have left it, yes, i'd have taken damage.

Yes i'm relentless, but i've been playing Sonic games for over 15 years so i'm somewhat familiar with what I can get away with, you count your blessings once the stage is over, no use in taking your eye off the ball because you got lucky once. if it were a full game run, fair enough, but in individual level runs you can push the luck boundary as far as it will go.

Watching a play-through of this just brings me back to when I was 6 or 7 playing these games.... good gracious golly gosh, what I would do to re-live those years!! If anyone is interested, I remastered the music from this level which you can find on my channel. Just a little something I do in my spare time when I'm feeling nostalgic ;)

@vanimusgames Current record is 1:48 in TSC, with 4 other people passing the time in this run. Really, it's not that hard to memorize the paths and such, like how the OP said.

@FashionistoIRE I'm not saying anything against your skill, because you are clearly a monster at Sonic, but I'm inclined to believe as FashionstolRE does that this is a TAS. Even if you didn't use something to slow the game down or anything, you can't tell me you got through each obstacle like that without so much as a save state. Every jump was just perfect, one right after the other.
