Bebe Gloton The Breastfeeding Doll. Should Our Children Have Such A Thing? One Mom's Opinion!

What do you think? Is it alright in your mind for such young little girls to practice the act of breastfeeding on a doll put to their own little bodies? Are dolls like these sending a positive message to our youth, or telling them to grow up too fast and giving them a bit too much information, at too tender of an age? The Gloton baby doll seems to be a hit to some and a miss to others. It sells for $118, which is some large price tag for a doll that does nothing more then slurp and burp.

I expect I might get my head put on the chopping block, but hey...I DID say I don't judge others 4 their opinions, should they differ from my own, it's just MY personal feelings & YOURS! I also think it's a horrible rip off at $118, when many dolls do the exact same thing...slurp, though thru a bottle & burp. Come on. They are trying to rip off the public, cause it's 'new' and 'different'. I just think kids will learn in time, when they become moms. What's the rush?

@Thetwinpossible WOAH! How the heck did I miss that it's $118? I would never buy a doll that expensive. LOL! Maybe one day when it's at Walmart for $20. :o) Yeah, I understand not rushing them to grow up but hey, there's dolls that poop pee drink from a bottle and all that....So I'm looking at it as the same. But yeah, no way would I pay that much for a DOLL. LMAO

I personally think that the doll should not be on the market, I can not even picture my child sitting there with a baby doll to her chest & her shirt open, I am appalled at whoever thought of this, Yes others have their own opinion & I have mine & I hope lots of parents strike out & say no, I just think the doll is wrong & the child can learn the natural way as she becomes an adult & has children. oh & by the way to this Company Bebe Gloton (Whats next the breast pump???) Sorry but its wrong!!
