  • he will get better now that hes with the rockets

  • those who say "you don't need defense if you're a great offensive player" knows nothing about basketball. in the nba, you HAVE to have defense to become a great player. yes martin is a good player but is not a great one, if you can drop 30 pts but allow your opponent to drop 30 pts also, youre not doing much to get your team ahead. like many greats say, "offense wins game, defense wins championships."

  • he looks like drake

  • @clutchcity25 because he's a SG akin to Flash, and the Black Mamba. From what I see, they're trying to acquire a PG that can play off the ball, and run an offense.

  • @PeediSigel That being said, I don't get why they drafted Tyreke, talking about Sacramento. If they don't want him to play PG, then why is he there? He needs the ball in his hands to be effective and he can't shoot it well, so he can't play the 2. He played the 2-spot with Beno Udrih last year and it didn't work out. My understanding was that Evans+Martin were the 1+2 of the future. .

  • @clutchcity25 Sacramento needed that frontcourt presence in Landry, and in Houston's case, with the exception of McGrady, (whom they wanted to move anyways) they didn't have a SG. Courtney was still in NJ, so they needed a SG that can score, and shoot from distance. Brooks was to be their PG of the foreseeable future, kinda like how Milwaukee views BJ (same breed of pg). But Brooks is only 5'11, too small to play the 2, so he's in the same boat as Nate Robinson, the "scoring PG" breed.

  • @PeediSigel Can't really argue with that cause you're right. Why have 2 ball-dominant players that want to score? That's why Wall/Arenas didn't workout. I don't get why they traded Martin to Houston, then. Wasn't Aaron Brooks the same thing but without the size?

  • @MrIamabitch kevin martin is 28,not that young

  • Actually he's a poor defender but he's one of the bests FG% player in the league..

  • @CJHOU1995 Yeah a little lol, he's actually black and white.

  • @dm319756 oh my fault i should have looked at whole comment. sorry :D

  • @narutoxgamester he said "you HAVE to have defense to become a great player." and i doubt that anyone said that Carmelo, Steve Nash, Amare is a horrible player.
