Determined to leave the ravages of war behind, 38 year old Gian Singh (Jimi Mistry) resigns from the British Indian Army to a quiet life. What a shame this movie isn't very known. This is one of the only ones that made me cry. The story is beautiful, the script too and the actors are wonderful !! And of course, there's Kris which is one of the reason why I watched the movie !! But really, take a look, it's beautiful ^^

I have heard 200 or 250 years of british rule - you could say that for bengal but not for the whole of india, whole of india officially was 90 years, unofficially 99 years, 1848 the brits took full control of india and in 1857, officially part of the empire

India was effectively ruled by the British for 90 years. It became a major power in India after 1818 by defeating the Maratha Empire. So I don't know where the director of this movie got 350 years. Death to the weak minded communist historians. Jai Hind (Global Power today, Superpower tomorrow)
