After Black Flag was dissolved, Henry basically had to start from the ground up, doing Rollins Band and spoken word to miniscule crowds in the beginning. The guy is authentic, self-made, and one of the hardest working 'artists' out there.

Henry is really smart, but also has this dark, animalistic mascular side to him. I can relate to him, because I had a simillar background and I'll never be one of this sentimental, idealistic thinkers, because I'm too rough for that. It's really great to see a interesting humanbeing combining sharp, sensitive thinking and the biological realitys of being a man to a appealing and balanced package.

BLACK FLAGG ?

What authors is he talking about at 8:52? Albert Camus? And/Or?

@467rtyufgjh they're both aquarius.

Did he kill Bono, I like to think so.
Is that the 'SpiderWire' fishing line logo tatooed on Rollins chest?

@WinMOD42 Good one, 100 pd test, but I believe it's the taken from the spider on the label of Sonic Youth's Death Valley 7".

Great stuff. But this can't be 1989, Black Flag ended mid-1986. I'm guessing this is somewhere around 1984.

@TheGreatIndoors1979 The spoken word part is from 1989, however the Black Flag footage is from The Party Centre, Toronto April 1984. They just added that clip in at the beginning as a retrospective on his career up to that point. Cheers.
