Your psp can only be downgraded to the firmware in which you got it with. You can find this by taking your battery out and looking at the sticker behind it. Look to the right a line down from the "wifi certificate". it should say at the end 0 and then a number. Use the chart below to match up and see what you can downgrade to.

02g - Any firmware greater than 4.71
03g - Any firmware greater than 5.00
04g - Any firmware greater than 6.10
05g - Any firmware greater than 6.10
07g - Any firmware greater than 6.31
09g - Any firmware greater than 6.31

I've been looking how to downgrade to 6.20 safely for OVER A YEAR! Datel never upgraded their

@jomppesd yes u can but i wouldnt remove the 5.03 gen because if ur psp runs out of battery or u take the battery out then u will have to redo everything in this video.
