lol just rewatched, and now I´m actually not sure you´re actually using the left hand slap. To get those fast triplets down, that´s what you need to learn. If I´m correct, getting everything from your right hand, don´t know if you can play i full speed yet, but that would be very hard at full speed.

Believe it or not I was once in a music shop in Leeds in the early 80's and Mark King walked in, quiet as anything, picked up a bass guitar and started playing this song. My best friend was a bass player, that's why were there looking at a Fender bass and he was like... gobsmacked, speechless. Mark King made the bass a lead instrument - very funky. Good cover dude!
