i would never throw a shoe at ANY of them ...... and i think -drunk or no drunk- he did a pretty good job of the song .... it looks like people had fun at this concert n it also seems like they enjoyed it .... isnt that the point of going to the concert? ... to hear some music and enjoy yourself? but i understand where everyone is coming from with the whole paying to see a good show thing ... i still admire p!atd no matter what :)
'Fairly good' isn't great though, is it? IS IT? Haha, seriously though, at the end of the day Ill happily admit that their August show was one of the most enjoyable concerts Ive been to. All I'm saying is that if hed come out on stage stumbling around, falling over and forgetting words I wouldnt have hesitated in throwing my shoe at him. That is all.
he didn't fuck up the words once and they sounded fairly good for him being that drunk. i've seen them ALL perform drunk and it never fucks with the performance. he's fucked up lyrics before but it's still fine. if people don't want to spend money seeing them in fear of him possibly being 'too drunk' then no body is forcing them to.
I'm not pissed, per se. My point is that if the quality of the show suffers because he's too drunk to remember the words, chords etc, it's a kick in the face for people that paid good money to see the band. There's a fine line between mildly tipsy and Amy Winehouse and the boy needs to make sure he stays on the right side.
