Fantastic lesson. I would never have aced it without the tabs. The key for me was playing the A string at the right time.

I have Erb's palsy in my left arm I used to take guitar lessons but quit because my fingers weren't strong enough to push down on the fret board. So I would like to know, can one still play guitar if they have Erb's palsy?

@MrMusicM67 Where are the pickups???????

Great video, I appreciate the link. Thanks!

@lukessummerguitar I've been looking at the tab and I'm still having a really hard time! A thorough breakdown would be super helpful. you seem to be the only person on the internet who can play this riff correctly...

@collinclaus Agreed. It's still kickin' my butt. Luke, I don't suppose you have an acoustic guitar version? I suspect I'll get it in a day or day. Tricky one though.

This sound goes right into my heart. I really, really need you to slow it down much more to get it right. Is it possible? I tried with the tabs but don´t get it right.
what kind of guitar is that? where r the pickups?

Great sound. Im even listening to this for the pleasure now! Could you do a full broken down guitar lesson for this? Im trying the tab but it never sounds right.

I have posted a link to the tab in the "More Info" section...if you're still having trouble learning this piece, let me know, and I will try and do a break down as best I can.

Do one need a thumb pic to make it sound like this? You are the only one at youtube who can play this correctly, thanks for doing the vid, its awesome!

No need for a thumb pick, but after you learn it - or indeed any fingerpicking song accompaniment - you will find that the thumb pick gives better definition to bass strings on an Acoustic or Electric.
Better to learn a piece without it first and then when you have it memorised add the thumb pick!
