Bryan Ruiz Gonzales is a Costa Rican football player who currently plays as striker for FC Twente.
He began his professional career playing for LD Alajuelense, in Costa Rica's top division and in summer 2006, he was signed by K.A.A. Gent in 4-year deal.
On July 15, 2009, Dutch club FC Twente announced that they had signed the Costa Rican forward for the sum of €5M.

Bryan Ruiz going to Liverpool would be a dream come true for me. A lot of people are arguing whether he can bring in the goals but Ruiz is more than a goalscorer, he is a complete attacking all-rounder and has played midfield, winger, striker and has impressed each time however he shines in a loose 3-man attack formation. I do also think the prem league will be tougher for him and that Liverpool should utilise El Zhar, Ngog, Pacheco more but Ruiz + Torres with Gerrard in support makes me giddy
