Mountains to the Adriatic 09 - Part 2: Lake Skadar - Sutomore - Zagreb, July 6 - 8

Morning at Lake Skadar, which is being traversed by a dam, but even a better spot proved to be the picturesque fishing village of Vranjina - if it wasn't for the road it would be perfect!
In the afternoon we moved on to the extremely tourist town of Sutomore - the scenery definitely is great, but it reminded me why I prefer a lonely fisherman's hut on Kornat for seaside holiday.
We took D 434 overnight to Belgrade and went on the much less than spectacular ride on D 414 to Zagreb, in Serbia it is additionally extremely slow going. At Zagreb we had heavy thunderstrom shower and sunset moods before we went on to our beloved GMs around Split by D 1823.

this is the train, which derailed 24.7.09 (ICN 521) in Katsela!!

Hi,

Train class, yes, but its neither the same train (this one is ICN 524) nor the same DMU (the accident vehicle was 7123 009+010).

However, you can see the same train and DMU only a few metres from the accident spot, see 0:14 of the my video "GM Summer Concert 2008 in Croatia - 3: Split - Knin".
