@ianwheeler7: They sometimes disturb me when I'm working on some music, I hate it. Sometimes I think they're trying to prove they're men and not mice. The same goes for the boomcars that the bassheads cruise around in. I'm really fed up by all the unnecessary noise - And I like loud music.. strange, isn't it?
loud pipes saves lives go pick on the car with loud bass system and import with racing muffliers they are worst then loud pipes on a bike go pick on a car with 5000 watts system that is more dangrous to your heath then loud pipes on a bike
Loud car systems ARE a problem, yes, but so are excessivly loud bikes. I live on a residential street, and during the summer months bikers frequently ride through revving their engines as if they were racing the street light. While it's not as common as the boomcars, it's still fairly annoying. BTW, "picking" on the bassheads doesn't get good results, the ones that cruise the neighborhood at night get really ticked off when someone complains about the disturbance. :(
I am a motorcyclist and i wear earplugs to try to protect my hearing, but some of these other motorcycles are so ridiculous and inconsiderate of people's hearing. Sleep deprivation from motorcycles is kind of a lame thing to argue, but having to go deaf because somebody else thinks loud noise makes themselves look cool is a legit argument.
