Hold On Tight ch. 1

'joe, where are we going?' I asked him as he pulled me through the tree filled park.
Without slowing down or turning around he replied, 'shh. Almost there.'
He stopped when we reached the middle of the park and he ran behind a bush so I followed.
'what are we doing?' I asked curiously.
'I told Kevin and nick to meet us here.' he looked at me and smiled.
'uhm..yeah...still confused' I turned towards him and looked at him like he was insane...which he was.
He pulled two water guns out from the bush and handed one to me. I got it now. We were gonna prank them. we waited until we saw the two of them walk through the park entrance before we attacked.

Well, I guess I should start from the beginning. My name is Madison Valerie Wilson. I have quite a few nick names: madds, maddie, Madeline, Valerie, val, vally. And sometimes joe calls me maddycakes, not sure why. I'm 16 years old. I have a sister, Ashley, who is 20 years old. She goes to NYU, so whenever I go up to New York, I stay with her.

I have lived in New Jersey since I was six years old. Hence how I know the jonas brothers. Im equally close with all of them, even Frankie. They've always been there for me, even when they're gone on tour and vice versa. With Kevin, I feel safe wherever or whatever we're doing because he's so protective. With joe, we tend to get into trouble but we have fun doing it. With nick, we can talk about anything, we can be serious but still have fun times. And with Frankie, I could run around and be a little kid again. Anyways, I met nick my first day of school in new jersey.

[flashback]
I was six years old and it was my first day of first grade at my new school. it was time for recess and I was sitting on the edge of the sandbox when a boy with black hair and a bad attitude walked up to me. his name was Brian.

B: your new right?
M: yeah
B: your gonna be my girlfriend, lets go
M: but, I don't wanna be your girlfriend
B: too bad!
He grabbed my hand and started pulling me to the swings. I pulled my hand away, and he pushed me down.
M: ow. Hey, your mean.
B: im not mean
A little boy walked up with brown hair, curling at the ends. Yep, it was nick.
N: brian. Leave her alone.
B: oh yeah. Why?
N: cause I said so [makes a fist]
B: ok ok. im sorry
He ran off and nick helped me up. I looked down at my knee and saw a little blood from where I fell. He hugged me and said 'everythings gonna be ok.'
[end flashback]

and from that moment on we've been best friends. That afternoon, our parents met, and I met his brothers. Thus, the jonas-wilson friendship began. Anyways, back to the present. They were visiting for a few days while they had a break from tour. Joe and I were still behind the bush waiting for the perfect moment.

When they were just close enough we started squirting them with the water guns and then jumped out of the bush. Nick and Kevin ran after us while trying to avoid the squirts of water.
Joe stopped and looked at me.

J: im out of ammo. Run!
We threw our water guns down and ran all the way back to my house where we collapsed on the front lawn. A few seconds later, Kevin and nick collapsed as well.
