Chrisette Michele is a young artist that defies artistic labels. She's jazz, hip hop, R & B, gospel and everything in between. However, when an artist doesn't fit neatly in a box, often record labels, critics and even fans don't know quite what to do with them.
Chrisette has said she doesn't sing for the awards or the fame. She sings because she has something to say. With "If Nobody Sang Along", she ask the question that many artistic people ask themselves, would I do if no one else listened? The answer is a resounding yes. The artist performs their craft because their very life depends on it. N Joy!

@blkbeauty8796 She is truly a jewel. However, much like the late Phyllis Hyman we must not look at her as underrated. She will have longevity and that's what really counts.

I love her music. It's very different. A combination of alot of different music. She is in a class all by herself. A diva. A talented jazzy classy diva. She is serious. Her songs are so graceful. Yes as if she is tellinging her story through her songs. And for that I give her her props.
