In memory of Halle, our Great Dane

Halle was more than a "great" dog, she was a part of our family. She truly understood and appreciated our relationship and loved everyone she met. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June of last year. Her front left leg was amputated after a tumor was found on her wrist. We were told this would only accomodate her as far as the pain was concerned but would not prolong her life. She was given 3 to 4 months. We were very hopeful for her future after 6 months had passed without any signs of tumors. Unfortunately she developed a tumor in her abdomen. She passed away on January 14th. She was a very brave girl. We will miss her dearly.

I'm so sorry for losing Halle..it's so hard and I know it very well...I know that nobody and no words can make you feel better in such times..but just hang in there because life goes on and in the end all that it is left are memories..good memories and you will remember her with joy and laughter...I didn't get to this part yet..I lost my great dane 3 years ago (just a week before my birthday) and I still can't get over her death...I'm still crying when I watch at her pics...:((

I feel your pain! We lost our Samson, a Great Dane/St Bernard mix to Osteosarcoma in his left rear leg. He was diagnosed with it last year and we opted on a holistic approach vs. the amputation/chemo/radiation approach. He lived almost a year and we had to end his life October 10th. He was exactly ten years and one month old. Their devotion and love is amazing..so affectionate for a large breed. You know you had a special thing when it hurts this much. i also had a lab ehich died b4 10 months and when i still walk before her tomb i hear her voiceand i can see her coming to play with me its just 4 years old died due to megaesophagus

i just added my dogs memory. first time on you tube, i chose to look at your video, first one i looked at, and it was the same song i used. i had to go back to see if mine was still playing. I made all my friends cry when i sent to to them. the song is perfect. so sorry for Halle. So cute!
